Huh, I haven’t tried this. Trying to smoke a leftover partially smoked cigar has always been nasty to me. I just assumed pipe tobacco was similar.

I’m probably not going to try this. To each their own. Whatever floats your boat or finds the lost remote.

Some tobacco it works well with, but some it's just nasty to my tastes

I do this also when I find a pipe that I forgot to dump. I enjoy trying to guess what tobacco it was that I was smoking.
