I've been lurking around a while so thought I should introduce myself. I smoked a pipe briefly in the 70s, but have primarily been a cigar smoker. Decided to jump back into pipes, and have learned a lot from the forums.
I picked up a couple Missouri Meerschaums from a local shop, and almost immediately launched into PAD mode. In the last month I've gotten a Peterson System 305, Savinelli 320, and a 1953 Dunhill Tanshell (my birth year). Also have a Nording Great Dane enroute from a member here.
I'm an early riser, so I spend some garage time with a pipe and morning coffee. Been trying a variety of tobaccos, and like many newbs I like the Lane 1-Q a lot. Dunhill London Mixture is probably my second favorite so far.
I look forward to expanding my knowledge with this fine community.
