Hey from central North Carolina and welcome aboard. I think you'll enjoy pipe smoking. Though you already own or have on order all the pipes you'll need for years to come, you will likely want more. Luckily, there is savings in tobacco if you can restrain yourself. One tin of premium tobacco that will provide approximately 20 bowls of pipe tobacco costs about the same as one premium cigar, and less if bought in bulk (in a ziplock baggie rather than a tin, to be jarred by you). You can tailor each smoke in terms of amount of tobacco, mixing blends and/or condimental leaf, and rub out or grate blends to suit yourself. It's more like home cooking than a restaurant meal. I'm a burley devotee, though I also enjoy other genres, but I suggest you give burley a try. It used to be the base of codger blends, and still is, but is now used much more creatively by various blenders, Cornell & Diehll for one example. Those codger blends are pretty good too; there's a reason they've been around for nearly a century or more.
