Everyone who enjoys a cob pipe should own at least one Old Dominion. They are light weight and easy to clench. The reed stems are an historical experience and easy to clench with such a light weight pipe. They're ideal for re-enactors. They're inexpensive for people who are building a rotation on a budget. They are made from heritage seed corn cobs. The small one works great for a short smoke, a sample, or a longer smoke with flake/coin/plug/rope. Old Dominions are a pipe experience for anyone "into" pipes. Even if you don't smoke cobs in general, you need one for the history.
