Hi guys,
I'm thinking about getting an IM Corona Old Boy lighter.
Some of these are tagged with "engine turned" as part of the advertisement of them.
What does "engine turned" mean, and do I want it for general pipe smoking?
Thanks!
Todd

I know that the Kiribis have plastic internal gas tanks, vs. the brass tanks of the I.M. Coronas. I would guess that the Kiribi will have a better regulator/flame adjustment mechanism over the Xicar, and one probably comparable to the IMC. :puffy:

I've had a xicar and now own a Kiribi. Not even close. The Kiribi is pretty close to an imc. I think in some ways better.

"Engine turning refers to a fine geometric pattern that can be inscribed onto metal as a finish."

Old car dashes and other metal bits used to be finished in this manner, it's tedious hand work (or at least it was).

That looks pretty neat. Where can you get these engined turned, or see pics of them? I love my old boy.
