So I’ve read several threads about this blend, MSO and others have said this brand seemed pretty good at a very low price point and Jiminks gave it a reasonable review on Tobaccoreviews.com.
So I bought a bag today on a whim for an inexpensive no muss no fuss daily smoking blend. It’s exactly as advertised. Seems a good solid pipe tobacco that I’m sure is just as easily used as RYO leaf.
I found it enjoyable and the burley, oriental and VA components are easily identifiable with no toppings I can detect. Burns evenly and without bite or harsh edges. No gurgling or dampness detected. Dead easy and simple to enjoy. Just what I was hoping for. If you’re wanting a top shelf complex blend keep on looking but honestly if you’re looking for a simple smoke that won’t break the bank and allows you to grab a short easy pipe, I’d give it a shot. Fit the bill perfectly for me!
