November is fast approaching anyone excited to try and nab thanksgiving day by L.J peretti?

Is that the usual procedure for buying it? I'm a little worried since the L.J Peretti website seems to not have a search function. I have it pulled up on a separate web page, but I also dont see an add to cart option. Also, after having a gander at their site. I have four other tobaccos I plan on getting. Of course, it's only the one ounce options. Tobaccos include Tashkent, Burlington, Tropical fruit and Strawberry patch. Thank you Pypkė for your recommendation of tashkent. I am excited to see how these blends differ.

I had the option to purchase a few months ago, it let me put it into the cart, and i was able to add other peretti blends, but who knows. That place is not the greatest of help

Shoot, 3 years ago, ha! I dug out my jar and it's dated 2019. Time flies when you're having fun right? Or time flies when your brain is on hold. Anyway, I smoked a bowl this morning and I still don't see that aging has done much for it for me. I can't really taste some of the toppings it's supposed to have. It's not a bad smoke but mostly tastes of burley, with a slight spiciness to it. I'll try another bowl in a few days and see how it goes.

Someone sent me a sample of the 2019, this was my experience with it too: I got occasional whispers of the topping it once had, but it was nothing special. It doesn't make me inclined to chase down this year's release.

Looks like the upped their price per cake. Last year's price was $28 this year's is $32. Perhaps the recent company acquisitions have led to an increase in blend prices?

Someone was very kind to send me a sample. I was really excited when it came in-the leaf smelled wonderful. I smoked and was underwhelmed. I think the hype got me. I guess i expected like cinnamon, pumpkin or something. It tasted floral and perfumy to me. Tasted like an old lady smells. And I like Lakelands, old ladys, and pretty much everything, lol.... except half and half....and this. I'm really miffed. Bad batch? I don't know. As always, to each his own and YMMV, etc.

I did EXACTLY the same as you. Ordered the Thanksgiving, plus several 1 oz samples. Except 3 oz of Cuban Mixture because I know I love that stuff! LOL.

I'd have even been willing to have a cat back in the house for a night to avoid the agonizing leg cramps that woke me up shortly after midnight - took one of the pups out hunting yesterday evening and tramped through stuff I'm not acclimated to yet - 45 minutes after walking them off in the dark and about 500 as quiet as I could obscenities later to avoid disturbing the wife and dogs I checked the website and whoo!

LOL, I don't know I love Cuban but since everyone else does the exception was that one - ordered 8 oz. - never had one of their little yellow tins so what the heck. Otherwise the little ones were Coffee Blend, 432 and 333 - hope they're good.
