One advantage to living in Hawaii is that we are 5 hours behind the mainland.....I'll be able to watch the ball come down at Times Square on TV at 7 PM my time and then go to bed....Aloha!.... :nana:

When I was still gainfully employed as a truck driver, I'd park it aboput 4:00 PM on New Years eve and not move it until noon or so the next day. I figured byb then all the idiots where either in the hospital or home nursing a hangover while watching some parade. Since pulling the plug, I set at home away from them mindiing my own business.

Cortez, don't forget The Attack of the 50 Foot Woman or Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. :D

We are expecting some severe weather by way of thunderstorms here. We have already had lots of rain. But as usual we may have a cple of friends over for the night. Watch some movies and have a few drinks.
New years day...we will gather at my mothers for black eyed peas and hog jowl, fried potatoes, cornbread.

Since my day starts at 4:30, I want to be home from the party by 10:00. By the way, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is classic. I also own all three sequels.

Find "Plan 9 From Outer Space". Bela Lugosi's last film. He died will filming it so the director, Ed Wood, subtituted for him wearing a cape and hiding his face for the last half of the flick. So bad its great.

I'll spend the night driving home, in my poor "new" 10-year old truck that is currently sitting the shop.

I rather wish I could sit at home with some buddies and while away the night with drinks and pipes.

Heading to a friends for small party staying the night. Not to sure what I am going to drink but last time I was there he was shaking mean martinis. The women dont know the plan but its Canucks vs. Dallas 7pm to 10pm get drunk, watch new york ball drop, and then New Years day sleep in, breakfast watch Capitals vs. Penquins winter classic on Hockey night in Canada and go home. Hope the ladies can entertain themselves while we get gooned and watch hockey.

I am guessing that since they already moved this to 8PM and the weather the way it is around here this weekend they will probably cancel the game its kind of funny because it never got above freezing the hole month of December. My brother in law is pissed he has tickets and was so excited about the game looks like he might not get a chance!

I usually stay home with a pot of coffee and a bottle of Makers Mark. However, tonight I have to go into the Gas Lamp district, full of trendy restaurants and faux Irish pubs. It's going to be full of drunken rowdy 20 somethings puking on themselves and probably my shoes.
My only hope for entertainment is that some long legged beauty will fall off of her high heels and take her knuckle head boyfriend down with her. Happy New Year :twisted:
