Hello Folks,
Q is just checking in to see how the crowd has faired during the years.

Just in case you tried to forget me🤓,
I have been smoking a pipe, off and on, for years. Today, my insurance limits my habit a bit, though a few puffs are granted.

My tastes in pipes are largely within the freehand camp, from the outlandish to the interesting, sometimes subtle, variations on stds. As to stds, Oom Paul, Hungarians, Rhodesians, Bulldogs etc. are also in decent supply in my collection (Current favorites are the Eskimo and Rhamses). One thing they all have in common, to one degree or another, is a bend to them. Most are briars though a few meerschaums, cobs, bog oaks etc. fill out the group.

Tobacco favorites range from English & Balkan to Vapors & Virginias with a few lightly topped aromatics thrown in for good measure. Good Burley, Fire Cured etc blends are also welcomed in my rotation and cellar as my tastes are quite broad. Still a good tobacco blend is just that and should be judged on its merits.
