One thing I miss and often travel to due to it- beaches. ENJOY. I will be in a snowy cabin for xmas with a TON of new tobacco anyways. I'll have to enjoy it outdoors but hey- a mountain view.

Hope the weather is good out there. Snow or rain?Hello and welcome from Seattle Washington.
Damn straight. Thank God I bought and paid off my home in a handful when I was still useful. These days it's the darn upkeep and car taxes. Really- $500 registration a year for my 4Runner?Welcome aboard! Texas or Georgia might be calling your name. Colorado Springs is expensive!
How I wish I had made it to your parts when I was travelling so often. Thanks for the great info and Best Greets from Finland-EU
So true. I am lousy at budgeting as I never had to until VERY recently. I was thinking of starting up some ride service for extreme weather and well- charge a ton. I have the vehicle for it so might as well but we don't get enough 6+ snows lately.Welcome from the SF Bay Area. I'm in kind of a similar situation. Not working right now. Just driving a bit for uber/door dash. I have found that even with money a bit tight i can pipe pretty well. I would say my monthly pipe/tobacco purchases have been averaging about $150 a month and i don't feel deprived. And that's half what i was spending buying a pack of Black American Spirits every day!
Yes- I am not sure there's another. I realize there's a club like one near downtown but I am not sure that would be worth it.Welcome, I'm also from Colorado Springs. Is Stag your local go-to?
Miss the Smokies. Beautiful area though I guess you are a tad West.Howdy and welcome from Middle Tennessee! Glad you’re here
Thx- I think I went a tad over the top last evening and caught my comeuppance. I guess I am still a bit stirred up from being zapped down too young.Welcome from central N.C. I think your budget will prefer pipes to cigars. One tin of premium pipe tobacco will give you twenty average size bowls at the price of one or two up-market cigars. Forums has members who smoke mostly artisan pipes, some made on commission, and the finest tobacco, and others who smoke mostly or only cobs and bag and pouch tobacco, and everyone in between, with no snobbishness going either way usually. Whatever you can afford, enjoy, and can get your hands on. Some make their own pipes, some with few tools. Welcome again, and have fun.
Whiskey, mountains, and I hear a good food scene near the capital these days.Welcome aboard from Central Kentucky Brian! Great to have you here!
Once upon a time.... Now I must drink the easier stuff. You get good smooth stuff? 92+ proof i assume?
Wonderful area. Used to camp out in those spots I suspect in a younger man's body. Grew up East Coast.Welcome from the NC foothills!
Rain or drizzle is always a great guess this time of the year but is just “gray” out today.Hope the weather is good out there. Snow or rain?
I missed a chance to move there when I was with HP. I like Fort Collins also. Plus- not far from Rocky Mtn Natl Park and some other great spotsI lived in Fort Collins for a few years, really miss that clean Northern Colorado air and beautiful sunrises/sunsets. Alas, I had to leave for Silicon Valley and now Pittsburgh for work. Hoping one day to make it back there, maybe live off grid like Sam Elliot... I mean Kola
