Funny thing, I swear I saw than van under the bridge, down by the river, with “Free Candy and Pipe Tobacco” spray painted on the side.

The image you gave me of Matt driving a '72 Eldorado anywhere made me laugh.I’ve been told, by those in the know, that Matt will be dressing up as Hannukah Harry and distrubuting the new blends, by himself on the first night. He’ll be driving town to town in a 1972 Eldorado, stopping at every home with a menorah in the window. He will also have a selection of SPC-branded microwaveable latkes, macaroons and those brightly colred jelly fruit slices that bubbie always had iin the candy dish on top of the TV console.

What's crazy is that my son is the least urban-influanced person I know and he LOVES big ass cars like that...Shhh! The car in the film is actually a 1971 Eldorado, but the film is from 1972, so I’ll give myself a pass.

I can't think of any time when people have said the new version is better. I maybe mistaken.Alls I know is that there will always be a doubt as to whether the new stuff is as good/the same as the old stuff. People will always beware any change especially when it comes to this hobby
Jim liked some of the Sutliff matches of OG codger blends better, but now they are gone...I can't think of any time when people have said the new version is better. I maybe mistaken.
cool sign. the fact they went through the trouble of making such a fantastic sign, only to be subsequently 86’d (by STG), is odd. who is behind their marketing dept?Sign at the entry to this year‘s Chicago Pipe Show:View attachment 409955
That's interesting. I wonder/am guessing there were prob different deals/levels to Sutliff/MacBaren's production line. Like many of them they owned but I suppose ones like SPC they would provide contracted services while the brand's owners would retain corporate shares/IP rights... like a Co-Packer when it comes to foodstuffs. When I spoke with Matt at the Vegas Show he said that some of the SPC blends were coming back into production. IIRC there would be six of them, nothing about STG being an issue, or anything that would stop this from happening.
