Very nice, classic looking pipe. But I am confused why you say it's not everyone's cup of tea? Because of the maker?

I said more due to RCH who not everyone is crazy about and the 2 years the pipes were made they were met with lukewarm interest. I didn't care for the 2002 series but this one is made from old briar found in the old Charatan factory and I like the shape.
LOL Brad, I have more than my share of classic shapes as well. :D

Once the heavy winds back off I'll find out, don't usually smoke my briars out in winds like this, cobs, meer's and rock cob.

Interesting, I read about but had not seen one of these pipes. I was going to say it looks a bit Chartan influenced, so that makes sense.

Very nice . Is RCH the actual maker ? Or was it made for him by Charatan? Or someone else ? Sorry for my ignorance .

I would smoke that pipe, i would smoke it so hard. all i have are a bunch of no name pipes from local antique shops. so anytime I see a brand name pipe I drool a little.
