Nose "Grease" To Clean Pipe Rim?

My Grandpa used to use it to lubricate the ferrules putting his fishing rod together.

I've done it and it does work but it makes me want to barf talking about it. ? It doesn't need to be from your nose. Any greasy, slimy, disgusting part of your face that has a lot of greasy, slimy, disgusting stuff works but so does cleaning the rim with water and a paper towel after smoking.

I am waiting for someone to say they clear their pipe by f*rting into the bowl or something even weirder. Hell, if you light the P Lip after doing that feat you will become your very own cigar torch lighter. The mind and the possibilities just boggle!! I am sure if Haja was here he would have a few suggestions involving Red Sea mud or something.

Whoa, dude! Some of us lack the slime and disgusting stuff. Pure nose oil or face wax. No grease for me!

I use spit on a paper towel or I will just stick a new pipe cleaner in my mouth (no bristles, thank you very much). I may be on my way to being a shiny-nosed tipsy old Irishman, but I'm not there yet!

Normally I use 'Nivea Creme' on rims that look like this...

You need to dry it out first, but you can smoke that.
