Thanks to someone's mistake we got a free salted caramel pizookie with chocolate ice cream at BJ's Brewhouse today. Not something I would order on purpose. (Can't turn down food, amiright?)

I had ordered a Chimay blue with my meal and was very pleasantly surprised they paired incredibly well. Well enough I would order this combo on purpose.

I love a trappist ale, but that dessert is far beyond what my sweet tooth needs, although I would insist on a spoonful (to the annoyance of my wife).

How is the Chimay? I have never heard of it. Pizookies are pretty sweet.

It's phenomenal. One of the best Belgian ales made. Very strong, rich,and malty.
