Nording pipes

Wow, you know, I have at least 6 Nordings, and I've only smoked 3 of them. The 3 are all Signatures. The other Three that I haven't smoked are:

1. A hunter series Cobra.

2. Some Super duper heavy walled drop dead gorgeous "13" or so pipe. I suppose it is something like an oversized pot. I would post a picture, but I am camera challenged right now.

3. A freehand that is feather light, and beautiful tight straight sort of grain. A real looker, but I need to

reduce the tenon on the stem a bit. It does not get into the mortise deep enough, and makes me a bit nervous. I'll try to post a picture in a few.
This thread is making me think I'm might not be giving them a fair trial period, so I think I'll start smoking them all and see how it goes.

OH! and the signatures, I am not really a fan of the way they are aging, as the color is not to my liking. This might be better as a new Topic, but has anybody ever stained one? I am "this close" to staining one. lol.

I have a couple Nordings. The warden smokes great, the Duck I can't bring myself to smoke it yet, the blue was a Nording kit diy, it smokes nice but it is smallish.

Yep, I've got one Nording free hand, and it smokes great! Plan to get another one day. ::

The style is hit-or-miss. Some of the smooth finish ones are alright (emphasis added), but their rustication is crap.
@pipetrucker: We have to hear that pipe theft story!!!
