Nording Hunter

I finally found it…well at least the entry for it. I had been searching and racking my brain about a blend I had thoroughly enjoyed when I first got into pipe smoking (after my brief aromatics period). The blend was part of Erik Nording’s Hunter Series and was the VaPer entry known as Beagle. It was a beautiful flake with deep and dark fruity notes. Wonderful. Anyone else remember this blend? It was glorious.

There were five in the series; Beagle, Labrador, Retriever, Fox Hound and... Pointer (I think).
As they were all made by McClelland, they are now lost forever except occasionally on pipestud.

I remember smoking Beagle and Retriever but I don't think I tried the others. My oldest son was really disappointed when he smoked through all the Retriever he had.

Correct. And since they made it, I think they own the recipe so it can't be produced by anyone else.
