I was wondering about the feasibility of a compass style morta poker iv read that morta is rock like so the question would be how well the stem to bowl connection would hold up any advice is appreciated

Morta isn't petrified, only partially. It'll still burn if you get it hot enough. No reason I can imagine that it couldn't be made into any shape that briar can.

I think after the holidays and shipping calms down ima pull the trigger worse comes to worse ill make a soft brass insert for the bowl
