I’m working on a Bulldog based a off a Dunhill design with similar bowl dimensions. I’ve found that size to be a good 45 minute smoke for flakes...

I did read/hear somewhere that the bent bulldog pipe is the most difficult shape to work with. I have many (am smoking one now) and can see how that is likely true.

I've been out of it for the week because of health issues, but briefly I wanted to mention the Nording bulldog has turned into a fantastic, different kind of smoke. I was worried about an inadequate chamber: turns out to be perfect for a different kind of smoke, especially the lightness of clinching. I may well get a second.

For me, it started with one bulldog, and I was hesitant also. Now, I have over 50 bulldogs. Be careful that your rotation doesn’t become a kennel, ha ha. Glad you enjoyed it. There’s also a feeling, almost thugish, that goes along with walking about with a straight bulldog in your clench. Enjoy!
