No tobacco withdrawal for pipe smokers?

My smoking schedule is practically identical to ACE57, however, I can leave home for a week of vacation and never take along a pipe or miss it. So I believe there is a certain comfort level with pipe smoking but not a nicotine need. It is just plain enjoyable at certain times of the day or during certain activities such as driving, keyboarding or with a cup of coffee or a shot of scotch.

Ive been smoking cigars and pipe since i was about 17 (8 years now) just about everyday-everyotherday-every2days and i have gone a couple weeks to a month without either and have never felt any symptoms of withdrawl.

I tried cigarettes for the first time when I was 19. Mind you, I never inhaled the smoke. I hated the way they tasted and hated the way they made me smell, so I tossed them in the trash with nary a problem. I tried cigars a few months later and rather enjoyed them, but would only smoke about 1 a week. I picked up the pipe soon after, tried it for about 3 months, then set my pipes in a drawer and forgot about it. About 6 months ago I started the pipe up again after finding my old pipes and a tin of tobacco, and I can go weeks without smoking and not have any kind of withdraw or cravings. Its one of the things I love about pipe smoking.

I'm a lot less irritable when I havent had a pipe full for a while than when I hadnt had cigs for a while.

I have been without a pipe for a week and right now I would smoke a BIG bowl of Mixture 79!! How is that for pipe cravings???

What kinda drugs have they had you on????????
