There's an attitude among those in political office that really burns my toast. There's no smarts in those ties they hang around their necks. They are not smarter than us.We are adult enough, and wise enough to make our own decisions.I didn't get to be 69 years old by being stupid. As I sit typing this post I hear fireworks outside. Those fireworks are celebrating freedoms that we're suppose to have.At the same time those we've elected to protect those freedoms feel that they can take away some of them if they choose to.Where do they get their arrogance. If they get away with it smoking won't be the last one they come after.
There is hardly any place in public you can smoke in Georgia any more... BTW, you guys can have fireworks? In Georgia all we can have here are over glorified sparklers... have to cross the state line to buy anything good and run the risk of getting fined in the process.
Edit: Fixed your quote for you. Lawrence

i didnt think to mention this be for.

both the city of ocala and marion county will not hire you if you cannot in some sort of reasonable way that you can prove, either do not or have quit smoking..........anything! screws me seven ways to sunday as i occassionally smoke high performance and reguliarly regulars. makes me wonder if the older employee smokers are grandfathered in or given the option to quit smoking or quit their job?

legalize it for chris' sake, let us make our own choices in all things we find reasonable. put our law enforcement resourses and judical systems on the greater prioritys and needs.

Hey, in GA we can still do stupid stuff like let little kids ride on ATVs but a grown man can't drive it across the street for gas... and we can get trashed in a bar on a Sunday, but we can't buy a six pack and take it home.
At least Hall Co made the establishments in Little Mexico put their signs up in English and Spanish so that the firefighters could figure out where to go. Actually, it's SO dumb here in GA that the illegal immigrants are going back voluntarily. Someone needs to kick the Bible thumpers and chicken breeders out of the governor's office and maybe things will make sense again.

Eh, I like my house too much and the kids have great schools. Otherwise, first chance I get, I'm heading back to the Space Coast in FL. Problem down there is that you either work for NASA or Publix or you don't work.
I guess I better buy a lottery ticket... but knowing me, I'd just buy some land down the street. Just because the politicians are idiots doesn't mean it's a crappy place to live.
And I got called a redneck as a compliment! That made my night!
