Hope your soon feeling better. I had to laugh at your comment about being nursed by the cats. Our cats do the same thing when I or my wife are sick.

My wife is a melanoma survivor. Your doctor's recommendation is reasonable for until the skin begins to heal where the "scraping" was done. It has only to do with vasoconstriction associated with smoking nicotine. Recommendation: only smoke low nicotine tobacco and only after the time that the skin seems to be healing well. Small price to pay...

Thinking of u mate! 9 spots removed from my back and sides over the last 4 years and a spot removed from my just below my temple that took 7 stitches. Ahhhh, and I thought the sun was my friend all those long years ago.

Thanks for the support and good wishes. The sutures have been pulled and the scar is mending nicely. I'm back to a bowl most days. I was amazed at how many precise sutures the doc put in, in a very short time, and how quickly the nurse took them out eight days later. Thanks again for the morale boost.
