Echopipe, I just used My pipe tobacco that I smoke but in a dirty old cob with a filter but would not clean or replace the filter and just got it in My head if I needed a cig it was that pipe only , I know it sounds nuts but it worked for Me, and now if I see someone with a cig they just look and smell like crap to Me. I just don't have the need for a nail and it's a good thing for Me and one more thing I now smoke for $60 a mounth insted of $200.

pawpaw, I carry a pipe with me whenever I drive for puffing so I don't get the nail itch still. its been about 3 months-ish for me now. Just whenever you get the itch use a pipe. Helps me and I hope it helps you.

I tried smoking Pall Malls for a week right after I turned 18. After deciding how smelly, expensive, and unpleasant they were, I tossed them in the trash. Shortly after that, I tried my first cigar with my father, and found it to be a much more pleasurable experience, but once I found the pipe I never went back. I took a hiatus for a few years after I met my girlfriend and was unemployed for a while, but it has always been my first love, and I can honestly say that I will never pick up another cig in my life. Hooray for pipes! :puffpipe:

I've gone from Jan.2, 09...

Keep up the good work.

The first month was the toughest.

It gets easier, but I still want one every now again.

So, what I do is distract myself with something else...

Works almost immediately.

Out of mind, out of mind... :D
