Hi
When I directly ordered the corn cob pipes from Missouri Meerschaum, the pipes had little stickers on the bottom.
I bought what is supposed to be "MM's Old Country Gentleman" from a local smoke shop.

But it does not have a sticker. Instead it just has a stamp, in bold, black letters, that says, "Missouri Meerschaum Original US".
Is this the authentic MM Corn Cob pipe or should I get a replacement?

My Country Gents and Twains both have black ink stamps instead of stickers. I do not remember what the exact nomenclature is, though. (The pipes are at home and I am not.)
I have two Ozark Hardwoods from MM that came with no stickers or stamping. ???

It's the real deal. MM pipes with a hardwood plug come with the stamp. Those without the plug have a sticker. My Country Gentleman is my favorite pipe, by the way. Enjoy!

Bought three pipes from the Missouri Meerschaum table at the New Orleans Pipe Show. They are all stamped on the bottom. I assume they are genuine because Phil Morgan personally handed them to me.

If stamped then it usually means that it has a hardwood plug inert and that it is authentic. Post a couple photos of the pipe and the bottom so we can clarify the authenticity.

I strongly believe the sticker is to cover the soft spot that comes without the hardwood plug. MM Soggy Bottom Boys lol.

Even better. I did make some pipe cement out of a Black and Mild Casino or three first. I lost all my old pipe cement in the "Rot" through.

@Tyler- Yeah, that soft spot'll make you a Man of Constant Sorrow, if you aren't careful
 glad someone picked it up. However, if it gets soggy I just let it sit in the sun.
