Embers, that is a beauty of a pipe. I'm not a Danish fan, but that does not mean I am immune to TAD. I just ordered three new pipes, a meer and two briars, a Peterson Rhodesian that I absolutely do not need.
This is madness and now you tell me about Black Frigate!!!I'm ruined!!!

Friends don't let friends suffer; this purchase was in your best interest, and we all knew that. You're welcome!
Great pipe, I hope it brings you many years of enjoyment.
On a sidenote: I received my first tin of Black Frigate last week -- under your suggestion -- and I've been staring at the can with a bit of trepidation. Don't I already have enough addictions in life to feed?

I wish You could post a few close ups of that pipe. I am a avid Holm collector and would like to see his signature on the back of the stem and see the logo on the mouthpiece. It is a great looking pipe. I am really curious about it and when it was made???
Thanks,
Jon :puffpipe:

Like Frasorteret, II S is a Holm's second. Preben's name likely won"t appear on the pipe or stem. Love the pipe either way though.

That is a nice one! I keep meaning to pick up a Preben Holm. I look at them all the time, and in fact took a gander at yours! But I have yet to pull the trigger on one for some reason. That is indeed an interesting looking one, and I hope you enjoy the heck out of it. :)

Tracking says it should be here Friday afternoon. Thinking about saving it for my NPSD smoke next month.

Gotta be honest, I'm not digging the shape, looks kind of off to me, and I'm with you on being a Danish freehand nut, so that's rare for me. The stem, however, is gorgeous. Take the stem off that and put it on a different pipe and I'm a happy guy!
Seriously though, congrats. I'm sure it will give you many sweet smokes to come.

LMAO ... We laugh the most at the things we can relate to the most ... Atleast that is what I found. And you post still has me laughing. HMMMMM
On a similar note after swearing I would not buy another pipe for at least six months, I was sooo proud of my self for making it.
I then proceeded to buy 5 pipes in three weeks to celebrate my success.

It's such and ugly pipe no one wanted not but you. Congrats on your new pipe and may it give you many years of smoking pleasure.

So, it arrived, and must say that I love it! Fills the hand quite nicely, and in spite of its size, it hangs from the jaw quite comfortably. Going to try to hold off smoking it until IPSD, but may break. It just seems like smoking it would be second nature.
