It seems to be tied to the mindlessness of things for me. When I didn't think about the pack, didn't pick the blend or pipe out while thinking much, and didn't pay much attention to my cadence, it goes remarkably well.

Sometimes she goes, sometimes she doesn't. Way she goes.

I find that when I can really taste the flavors of the tobacco, or have zeroed in on a good flavor and can consistently enjoy the smoke without getting my bowl too hot, rushing through, and being able to take into account some good scenery, is as close to a nirvana smoke as I can have. It is usually accompanied by an overall contentment and calm demeanor that comes from the pranayama-like breathing that I achieve when a good cadence is reached.
