I find that when I can really taste the flavors of the tobacco, or have zeroed in on a good flavor and can consistently enjoy the smoke without getting my bowl too hot, rushing through, and being able to take into account some good scenery, is as close to a nirvana smoke as I can have. It is usually accompanied by an overall contentment and calm demeanor that comes from the pranayama-like breathing that I achieve when a good cadence is reached.
