@Brad,

Awesome ODA. I once had a Dunhill Panel Bruyere ODB that I sold to John Loring the noted Dunhill Collector/authority and regretted selling it to this day. Now John has left this world and maybe I can get it back some day but I seldom see any of his collection for sale anywhere. FWIW, never sell a cherished pipe or firearm, you always live to regret it!!

Doc, I gave a Colt Python to my oldest son many years back, he traded it, I told him if you ever do that again I will write you out of my will. You never get rid of your firearms or your cherished pipes, once the money is gone it"s gone and empty feelings abid! Good advice Doc.

Brad: I sold or gave away the sandblasted Dunhills. I just prefer the taste of the smooth ones. There were three blasted panels, one looked a lot like yours.

Foggy I had Floyd make me a stem with a big button, the original stems button was small and narrow, not good for clenching, smoked it this morning with Marlin Flake, damn that pipe smokes good.How you doing with your health? You know we worry about you.

Thanks Brad: I am very flattered about your concern. My health is considered poor, but there is quite a bit of improvement in the heartbeat, so I am hoping to stick around for a few years. My wife is a registered nurse and says she has seen a whole lot worse, still alive. I have given up pipesmoking except one a day, and I only smoke about half of that. Have also given up drinking except one beer every few days, and given up smoking the other stuff totally. I might even get to 10,000 posts, like Roth. God bless you and the best to you and your family.

Beautiful Dunhill Bradley. Almost my birth year - missed it by one year! Nice photo too - appreciate you fitting in the Vermont mug!)

Foggy you've got an amazing perspective on things and glad you're putting your health first ( and I am also glad to know you're at least able to smoke a pipe a day). I look forward to your 10,000 post. :puffy:
