I’m sure this has been asked before but wondering if folk could suggest some alternatives to Nightcap?

I’ve found it very satisfying so fancied trying some other similar offerings.

Open to suggestions from all over but available in the UK blends would be cracking. ?

Anything with a lot of latakia in it but without burley or cavendish (those two with latakia create different other genres). I think the following are available in the UK: Sam Gawith Commonwealth, Germain's Royal Jersey Original Latakia Mixture., and the aforementioned Ashton Artisan's Blend.

I've had Sutliff Nightcap match. I think it's a fine blend on it's own but, personally, I would never call it a match for Dunhill Nightcap. I've haven't had the Peterson Nightcap.
Peterson’s Nightcap is the same as the previous “Dunhill” iteration. They both share the same tobacco and casing/preservatives.

When Nightcap went off the market for a few years, I found blends to fill the void, though nothing is quite the same as Nightcap. First, the Dunhill casing/preservatives that are found in all their blends is very distinct. Second, I have never found another blend that could balance the smokiness of Latakia, the sweetness of the Virginia leaf, the floral was of the Turkish leaf, with a potent kick of perique. The match blends miss the mark. Artisans Blend lacks the punch from perique and the Oriental varietals taste different. Quiet Nights is richer and earthier. Spark Plug might be the closest, but the form factor is quite different and it is a tad sweeter than Nightcap. All the blends listed here and by others are wonderfully fantastic.

My 2 cents - I don't know if you've had these, but from my favorite latakia containing blends, including Balkan, form best to least the order would be:

1) Quiet Nights
Tied 2) (and a close second) Ashton Artisans Blend and Eso ASTB
3) MM 965
4) Balkan Supreme
5) Margate
6) Blackhouse and Magnum Opus
....
11 or 12 or something) Nightcap

Ones I haven't spent enough time with, but may become the ones to beat: Brebbia Balkan, Drucquer Blairgowrie and Levant Mixture, and MacB's HH Vintage Syrian.
