Nice Pipe terrible price

Thank you for your information, Thilo. The photographs you posted show a pipe equal, in every way, to the one listed on e-bay. These truly apear to be beautiful pieces but I simply could not set aside $250-300 US for a pipe before holding it in my hands and experiencing such variables as weight, balance, drilling and finish. I'd love to see this maker establish a foothold in this country. Then, just maybe I'd take the plunge.

Funny this thread popped up when I was searching for Ponomarchuk info. I bought one of his pipes as a Xmas gift to myself last December and I love it. I would say that ebay deal would have been a good one in hindsight

Yes. It took about 6 weeks of waiting, but it arrived well packed and was worth the wait

I bought mine from ebay from the same guy -- took about six weeks, too. Mine is a fairly humble, but excellent, Liverpool. I think mine is an early number.

I do enjoy it. It's so light, the stem is comfortable, the airway is good and open, and the grain is really nice, in spite of the dark stain.
