Stokkebye was already produced by STG at their Assens facility. Newminster was produced for Villager by Mac Baren and will be discontinued.

Yep, Newminster is already in the process of being put out to pasture. Round Slices is already gone from the SP page, surprised there's any Navy Flake still left. I'd be all over that like piranha on a wounded cuttlefish if I hadn't already stocked up.

I would put HU Indaba up against newminster 400 if you were looking for something comparable at a still reasonable price.

I think the DFK in Indaba is very subtle and tracks comparably to some of the VA leaf used in 400. The toppings are also reasonably similar. 400 can have a little citrus to it but the base flavor and caramel is very similar to me.

I just finished a tin of Indaba and while it’s been a bit since I opened any of my 400, it gives me similar memories.

Much better than any of the stokkeby crap!

Sounds like Indaba is a must try. My mouth waters when I think of Orlik dark strong Kentucky. Round slices and no 400 hit that sweet spot I was chasing. Various VaPer blends come close… everything I fall in love with seems to be discontinued. Always wise to stock up

It is a little more bass heavy compared to 400, but I still keep comparing them. I personally prefer it but I was also looking for something with just a little bit of Kentucky so there's a bias.
