Starting to Get Obsessed

I've had a pound of this for a week or so. Certainly the first attraction was price. The pound went for $24.92 from P&C. 5# is just $108.
The first thing I noticed was it wasn't your typical red Virginia you might pick up for blending. Lighter bits ran through the mix. That was interesting.
It has a note many call citrus. I have never seen that as such. I'd call it more a mild, interesting astringency. But citrus probably works for those with younger taste buds.
When I don't pay a lot of attention, I smoke a bit too fast and get some bite when I'm doing other things that I have to pay attention to. So, far this hasn't done that. I have to say it as easy a smoking Va as I've come across.
This will stick here. I might even pick up the 5#'s next and cellar some. Although it is pretty nice out of the bag. The taste profile is closer to something like Dunhill's Va Flake than others Va smoked. I am not say to you purist that it is like it or replaces it but that its flavor profile is closer to it than to most other Va out there.
I'd say, if you like a Va it is definitely worth a go. Makes a great morning smoke or something to break up the day as it is at this moment.
