Hello All,
I joined the forum earlier today and thought I should add to the new member introductions.
I started pipe smoking last year with a Missouri Meerschaum and a pouch of Captain Black. Being from the Chicago area, I didn't smoke over winter. Once temperatures were above freezing, I continued expanding my tobacco sampling, and pipe collecting. While I might not be a complete beginner, with only being in this hobby for a year (and putting down the hobby for a couple of months in there) I would still consider myself newish.
Luckily I have been able to try a wide variety of tobaccos from Germain and Esoterica blends to Peterson/MacBaren/Sutliff blends.
I will admit that I am a lightweight, so if any veterans have low nicotine blend recommendations, I'm all ears. While I still smoke moderate nicotine level blends, I don't pack a full bowl and make sure I hit the checkmarks (don't smoke on an empty stomach / enjoy a soda while smoking).
Thanks,
Analog
