I've been buying a few pipes. Here is a beautiful Comoy Old Bruyere #409. Bought and shipped to me for less than $50. It has character! I love the patina. It is a great smoker! I'll be posting more new ones. I've got my eye on a couple that will be formerly owned by one of our distinguished members!

I love the 409, a very classic shape by my eye. Comoys stems are easy to polish, that 3 pc logo is a lot more durable than a stamped logo. An Old Bruyere should smoke quite well! I think you did well for a $50 investment. You probably couldn't buy a $100 pipe that will smoke as well.

bob, great looking classic at a great price, you did well on that one my friend. Very glad to hear you love how it smokes, nothing better than picking up a great smoker for half a c-note.

So you're the one who outbid me! Congratulations, I'm glad it went to someone who loves it. (I was feeling cheap that day, or it would be mine)
