I am so angry at myself. The previous owner of the Viscount decided to whack off the stinger. Which I would agree with except they left bits of the stinger in the end. I got those out with some pliers but the real problem was part that was lodged in the stem. I tried a pipe cleaner but it did not work so I tried to use my thin metal tool. Well, I ended up breaking off part of the stem. I can probably repair it but I am bummed as this is an old pipe and the stem was immaculate except for the stinger sawed off. I guess you live and learn and then take geometry so you know what fits where lol.

On the bright side though, I received four new pipes today and a pipe rack from Ebay. I needed the pipe rack but I believe I will sell the pipes. I say believe because I have said this before and become attached to the little guys they just needed a good home! I have adopted way more than I can smoke but its hard to let them go.

Measure the stem diameter I have quite a few Dr.Grabow stems wanting a home.

Indeed it is good sir. However, it is a triangle shape shank so the other ones won't fit it right. I might be able to fix the stem I will post pictures of the damage in a little bit.

No screw in diamond shaped stems on hand, BUT!!You can pick up a very good stem from J. H. Lowe whack the tenon off and insert your metal parts.

Thanks Jerry. I got four more in today and a pipe rack lol. I just wanted the pipe rack though and it was cheaper to buy the lot and then sell the pipes than to buy a pipe rack from somewhere else. Hell, I might keep the Kaywoodie that came with it as it looks like a nice smoker for a standard. I am also going to sell all the pipes from this past lot except the Volcano and the Bulldog. That's why I was so pissed I broke the Viscount. But it is still smoke-able it just looks bad lol. So I guess I will be keeping it as well.
BTW, I sent your pipe today so you should be getting it by friday or saturday at the latest. Let me know how you like it.
