Hello all, have only contributed a few posts, but have been curious to reread them and see if I still agree with myself!

The thread on posts count is closed, so have to ask my stupid question here - where the heck IS the link to my post count and my individual posts? From reading others posts it seems to me there is a prominent display of this on the site somewhere, but I ain't seeing it!
Thanks anyone for pointing out the obvious to me- I just know I am going to feel quite stupid when I am shown!

As far as your previous post you can scroll down to the bottom of the page where it shows online members. Click your name and it will take to to a list of your post. It only holds so much, I think someone told me it was 50 post. As far as your post count are you asking about the one below your name?
Post link is where captain says too. I didn't know about it.

The OP's quest to read his own posts certainly bears out the observation that most online "social" behavior is, in reality, narcissistic and thus ant-social in nature. Me interacting with Me. While there may be other voices in the room, nobody else hears them, and they may as well be synthetic. We have to ask whether this is, in fact, cyberschizophrenia.
Of course, as soon as we meet another forum member in person, face to face, mano a mano, then the carriage goes "poof", turns back into a pumpkin, Auntie Em turns back to black and white, and our mental health is temporarily restored. Unless we completely freak out because our reality set is suddenly cleaved in half and make a total ass of ourselves, which does happen, I've seen it.

You need to go back to the threads you've commented on to see if the discussion is still ongoing. And to see if someone insulted your mother... and boy does that happen often.
The whole email alerts and sifting through the front page to see if its still being talked about gets old fast.
I like the reddit structure of upvotes and downvotes.
If a comment doesn't help the discussion you can downvote it... or for no reason at all, because people are slimeballs.
Also the fact that you can easily tell whom is replying to whom because it will be directly under the original.
