I got a nice little $20 ebony wood pipe (or so the description called it, from Whitluck's House of Pipes. It came with a stand, 3-in-1 tool, screens, filters, and a travel bag. On advice I got here, I did not use the screens or the filters, but I may experiment with one or both at some point. But I definitely want to look for some other pipes.
Same one I got, I still have it, on its 3rd stem now. 😄

Welcome from Scotland, also started the same way through Amazon and stumbled about until I found this forum and started asking/reading questions. So much great advice that I now own three pipes and enjoy the pleasure of different blends. Have fun and enjoy the hobby.
