Newbie from KC!

About as green as you can get here, I’ve been smoking a pipe off and on for a few years but I’m really just starting to indulge in the culture over the last month or so. I’ve really been enjoying exploring new tobaccos and have already began expanding my pipe collection. Looking forward to keeping up with the community and digging further and further into this art form we call pipe smoking!

Welcome aboard. My wife grew up in rural northeastern Missouri, and I met her in school in Columbia, MO.. I did an internship on a newspaper in Neosho south of Joplin, an adventure for a city kid from the Chicago area. Meanwhile, my wife did an internship in Detroit during the 1967 riots. One of my college friends, long retired, recently moved back to the St. Louis area. But I've never been to KC.

It’s a real great area! I’m actually fairly new to the city (about 3 years, St. Louis originally) but I’m always finding new stuff. Looks like a pretty good pipe community as well
