Quite excited to try. Watch City Slices was one of my favorite. Just a fantastic blend and I was bummed to see it go. Hoping they're somewhat close in flavor profile, although it sounds like Waltham may have a bit more topping and depth?
They are different blends with a very similar base. WCC had a dark rum topping, but only a bare hint of a cocoa topping. This has a little more.

Waltham Broken was love at first puff for me, I enjoy it much more than Slices. I'll be getting a lot more of this.

Glass Slipper I'm not sure about. It's really smooth and has a great mouthfeel, If I were rating tobaccos on those qualities alone it'd be a 4 star blend but I feel it lacks big time in the flavor department. I'll smoke the rest of the 2oz and maybe it'll grow on me but for now I'm glad I just got 2oz. Persian Slipper I enjoy very much.

Glass Slipper is the more aro of the two. Very nice Orientals and some interesting spice and complexity to the blend, It's real close to being a winner but I find the vanilla flavoring to be a complete drag. It's a shame; I'd love a non-aro version of this blend. As it is, it's not really to my taste but it will probably appeal to those who like crossover blends like Frog Morton.

Waltham didn't give me either the flavor or punch I look for in a burley blend. No major problems. it smokes well and is quite smooth but I was hoping for more intensity.

I was really looking forward to both these blends but now that I've had a few bowls I don't think I'd ever reach for them again.

I've only tried a single bowl so far of the Glass Slipper, but it's very good. Par for the course, but Jim's review is pretty spot on. The smell from the pouch is very rich, with the flavor being a little more dialed back. Sort of a higher-end codger blend, along the lines of C&D 8 State Burley. Like the 8SB, I wish there were less vanilla present, but Glass Slipper uses the flavoring much more sparingly, which I appreciate. The Orientals pick up towards the end of the bowl and are of a very high quality.

I'm still shocked I was able to scoop up a few more of the Old Dominion 25th Anni when I was ordering the Glass Slipper. How that hasn't sold out yet is a mystery to me.

I would say if a person really liked reds the 25th is a great option but you have to be willing to spend much more per ounce. Reds are bite-y to me but even so I bought 4 tins just to see how it does with time but I prefer the regular OD over the 25th.

I did go back and order 2 Lbs of the Glass Slipper though. That one just really agreed with me and I'm looking forward to a long relationship with it.
