New Tobacco in Old Tins - Again

After reading the threads here about C&D's Pegasus blend I ordered four ounces from smokingpipes.com, tried it, and liked it very much. Since Mr. Runowski stated, in his review on tobaccoreviews.com, that his, "...hope was to approach the flavor of Bond Street with its pleasant room aroma...," I thought it fitting to put my stash in an appropriate tin:



As I have said before, reaching for a tin such as this from which to fill my pipe is the closest thing to time-travel that I will ever experience.

I should also add that the eBay Seller's image of this tin did NOT do it justice; it looks brand new although it is probably at least 80-years-old!

I haven’t put fresh tobacco into these, but inherited some old tins from my Father in Law, filled with sorted screws and fasteners.









I do have a Bond Street pocket-size tin somewhere.
