Hi and welcome from Northamptonshire, England, your pipe is Spanish and based on a clay pipe.
@tobakenist Hope you can make it to Nottingham Pipe Show this year. Look out for the Redcoat & clay pipe!Hi and welcome from Northamptonshire, England, your pipe is Spanish and based on a clay pipe.
I will be there, smoke the pipe that I sent you, tobacco's in a bigger bowl smokes better, in clays, in the past, tobaccos were blended for a short smoke, modern tobaccos are made for a longer smoke. In clay's the tobacco is nearer to Cigarette tobacco in the past. Hope to see you there.@tobakenist Hope you can make it to Nottingham Pipe Show this year. Look out for the Redcoat & clay pipe!
At the moment my collection is all over the place, but once I get a proper display I definitely will!Welcome! I'm not helping with identifying the pipe but I'd love to see the rest of your collection.
It’s a great photo isn’t it? Apparently it was taken in a photo booth in 1943 NYC by a gentleman with his German Shepard A man, his dog and a photobooth in New York City. - https://www.projectb.com/blogs/news/10214329-big-dog-and-his-man-in-the-photoboothHello from NYC currently. Your pfp is the same as a guy I follow on twitter.
