I have several GBDs of varying grades. I think I have more virgins than any other series.
I have one GBD Unique that is a super smoke! All of my GBDs smoke well even the less expensive ones.
This is my Unique.

Iwan Ries has new GBD's on permanent half-price sale for $60. These are the silver color oval logos, which are not as highly recommended as the gold color ovals, but they look like good pipes at a good price. Kaywoodie went out of favor a generation or two ago but still turn out a fine little cooker, light weight, thin walled but still providing good insulation, in good traditional shapes, to me a good pipe and good buy.

It’s a great smoking pipe. These things were made to last, nice thick bowl, I smoke it often.
