This morning I went to Perth to visit B.A. Kerrigan's, which I knew as an old fashioned sweet shop as a child and never realised was also an old fashioned tobacconists! Bought myself a basket pipe from their selection as well as some Black Irish X Twist, some American Delite, and some Kentucky Nougat

My wife got me one of those pipes in the basket, the generic Peterson-looking system one. She didn’t get it in Perth though. I think instead from the shop on Panmure Street. But now I know where I am stopping in my next visit in Perth. Cheers!

Yea, well, fine. No complaints. I haven’t smoked it a few years. It’s in the bottom of a box. I seem to recall the stem felt more plasticky than acrylic, but it’s good enough.

I must have been in South Methven Street a thousand times and can't recall ever going in there! Mind you, forty odd years ago, there was still Rattray's and no need of another oasis, I suppose. And as I was chiefly a cigarette smoker, a hundred other places.
