New stems to be attached/bowl repair

I have two pipes where the stems broke off and a piece of each stem was left in the bowl. I managed to get the pieces out but am left with some ragged holes. I just bought two stems to attach to these bowls and am looking for suggestions as to how to attach them. Also the round bowl has a hole in it. Suggestions for repair of that? Thanks for your review and assistance.

Unless the above has sentimental value, it'd take more than the pipe's worth to make it right. You need a pro to fix that.

As for the stems, I personally would sand it even. Then re drill the part where the stem goes in. Harder than it sounds, but not impossible.
And do you have a link to a picture that jpmcwjr can post, of the bowl with the hole?

Hi, Thanks to everyone that replied. I like the suggestion of sanding and drilling and may give that a try.

That hole looks like someone tried re drilling the draft hole. I would know, cause I have done that very thing, and oops too far. You could try a mixture or briar dust that you have or saved from sanding the other pipe down (could use just wood dust I suppose) and super glue. Turn it into a paste. Let dry and sand. Or what I did on the Grabow I messed up was plug it with a tiny piece of wood, force fitted it, without glue, sanded, re rusticated it with a Dremel, and stained it.
But hopefully someone with much more knowledge than I will chime in .

This was a Grabow that I drilled too far.
The repair was hidden pretty well I think. Granted it is rusticated, so it was easier to hide.

That white spot on the bowl, is not the repair. I have no idea what that is now that I'm looking at it lol.
