ESCUDO!
Very popular, getting a tin of that should be fairly safe.

Thus far among all the natural tobaccos I've had it's unmatched in sweetness. If you can find some Samuel Gawith St. James Flake it'll be virtually identical, but that stuff seems to sell out within days any time it pops up.

I've been smoking pipe for about a week now. I started with Captain Black White and a Dr. Grabow Freehand. I smoked about for bowls and thought there is got to be better. I forgot to mention I got my first setup at a local " tobacco shop". So I hit the retailers near you tab above and found 5 real B&Ms near me hear in MN. I choice a local called Perfect Ash that only do cigars and pipe. Wow! What an awesome experience!
After browsing for a couple minutes a man asked me if he can help me. I told him I'm green to the scene and that I've got a pipe and been smoking CBW for a couple days. He ask if I brought my pipe. I replied no. He says I offer FREE samples. That said I bought an MM Cob for $7. He said smart man lol!
What happened next was a great experience! He had me smell several of his bulk "house blends". I was going for some bolder and more complex Aros. He, "Charlie the Cuban" totally delivered on all levels. Four hours of great conversation and four different bowls of bacci, I couldn't have been happier for my visit!
I walked out the door with an oz of Old#1 aka Q1 and 2oz of Blue Ribbon which I loved and my first MM Cob Diplomat for under $20!

The experience of great costumer service and conversation with Charlie and his regulars was priceless!
That said find a B&M with no cig sales. Cigars and pipes only! These guys live for the stuff and they should never be over bearing or ego driven. You learn what you like not what you should like!
Sorry I rambled. Just try to find trusted company.
Good luck and enjoy!
