Both Peterson and Savinelli have these great Prince shapes to offer, precisely Savinelli 313 and Peterson 407

then if one is after smaller lightweight pipes I'd recommend exploring the French vendor Pipe.fr, there you got a wide range of smaller pipes to choose from.

Wow, this is great! Thanks guys. I have ordered a grab of Lark for starters. I too like those small French jobs, next order perhaps.

Cheers, Smitty

I actually prefer a smallish bowled churchwarden for the car. Pipe in my right hand with my elbow on the armrest. A Missouri meerschaum shire cob is the perfect truck pipe.

Dr. Grabow Duke with the 6mm filter is not a bad small bowled pipe.

I use one when I want a bowl of an Aeromatic real quick. Once a month or so.

I have a Savineli Feather weight that is a small bowl. I got it for flakes. I'll have to look or retake pics of it. These I got off eBay that were described as "shag" pipes from the 1940's. I got them for cheap and they were in great condition. Small bowls made for smoking shag cut tobacco. I like them a lot.

+1 on the Stanwell shape 86, slightly bent, and what Stanwell calls a pot, designed in the last century by Sixten Iversson, the renown Danish pipe carver. I think PC still has some versions of this for $49.99. Also keep an eye out for unfinished Savinelli pipes which are often a good buy, always a good smoke, and "finish" themselves handsomely over time.
