That seems very expensive but maybe there is a real big plug in there. Recipe and format sound appealing though.
Which was already close to "too much" territory for me when I bought it, and despite being a decent straight VA was definitely in the "too much" camp after smoking it. Looks I'll be on the Give Me Death side of things.

Setting aside potentially inflammatory remarks the increase looks to be about 7% at the MSRP level.
I'm working on a review of it as I type. Might take me another day or two to complete it.

Is it limited of like Hogshead will keep coming back until the leaf is gone? Hogshead is delicious and worth the money.
One of my favorite tobaccos I'll never have again was the 10yr 4th Generation with Gawith....expensive but hindsite worth every penny. Only had one though.

Hogshead is great and well worth the cost. This new blend sounds like a stoved version.
I've enjoyed the Hogshead I've smoked but there's more than 10 top 20 other Virginias I like better
After Hogshead I’m happy to pay the price (100g, btw). I’ll be buying a few tins for sure.

C&D has some old faithfuls (Opening Night being my go-to) but the new release of a lot of your go-to's don't taste the same as they did a few years back (ie SG and Wessex).
Absolutely. It seems like it’s less a question of whether a blend you like will be degraded than when.
If I find something I like I try to stock up.
Is this Joe's last blend or did he leave behind additional recipes?
The next one will be a VaPer.
Joe created dozens of blends for friends as well as the Seattle Pipe Club members for club meetings. I've no idea if any of them will ever reach the market, though.
