I just smoke them without the filter. I like the open draw.

I really don't like the wind-tunnel open draw that you get from smoking a filtered pipe without a filter. Also, the adapters to make it smoke kind've like an unfiltered pipe are also just another thing to have to clean or replace. I just stick with unfiltered pipes.
