No. Just go and buy a white pipe. Anything that removed the wax coloring would probably dissolved the pipe or render it totally unsmokeable.

How can you tell the difference from the temporary coloring? Darkness shades?
Yanik uses dark wax for artistic effect and shadowing. Nothing temporary about that, it's just the natural color of the wax and it's embedded in the material.
It might become more white after smoking? I think Hoosiers pipe was precolored wax and got whiter as he smoked?
You never know it would be cool to take it back to white but I am also considering another soon. A commissioned lattice just to have it exactly how I want it. This one was just too good of a price to beat for an unsmoked pipe compared to what they go for. I am a fan of all white for my own preference of coloring but if I smoke it enough it won't make a difference in the long run.
Its unsmoked for under $220 including tax so I am happy with it. I just thought it would be interesting to see it all white if it was possible

This is why I asked. And also brought up the coloring.
That takes half the fun away of smoking then in my opinion. But I like taking new things and making them my own, and well worn looking. The main reason I don't do estates. Like taking credit for someone else's work!
That what I'm thinking or a random drip on the crew tenon lol who knows. The meershaum pipes I've smoked with these type of tenon turn more black then brownish but I was wondering how that happen. I wonder why I can see the artistic side of using the wax like drawing a picture you need shade to make life like carving you need shade and shadow so I get it. There is just something about coloring it that makes me feel I won't notice alot of it for a long while.
Bought a colored lion awhile back. Its a golden color but the inside of the bowl is white.
