A comment more on the actual pipe, rather than tongue-in-cheek alternative references.
First, that is a nice pipe, Harris. My congrats for scoring it.
Second, the more I smoke, the more I find I prefer a billiard straight style. I have a Savinell Deluxe Milano that is a fine smoker, but I don't like the fact that the bowl is right under my nose because of its bent shape. Ditto for my carved meer.

Allan, you promised it would be large and straight but it ended up being minuscule and flaccid, you lied. lol
I do have plenty of bent pipes but honestly my straights are just as comfortable, I have never had a straight be hard on my teeth.

Brian's natural unstained sandblasts are a part of my collecting motif. I have one such pipe from each year he has been making pipes. My first was a natural rusticated Canadian from 2002 with his old B.A.R. stamping (he was not blasting professionally in his first year). All of mine smoke great with no exceptions.

peck, we both know the reason you did not buy one, you could never appreciate a pipe of that quality. You are so used to smoking your cheap basket pipes loaded with Borkum Riff, that a good pipe would be completely foreign to you. Talk about giving a pig whipped cream.

Actually I have moved on from the Lemon Pledge and now carefully infuse all my tobacco with Ben Gay ointment. This has no relation to the gay comments above, however.
