I've been spending all my pipes and baccy money on baccy this year, stashing away Amphora Virginia and Sutliff Virginia Slices while I could. I decided to buy myself a little pipe for Christmas.
I've been buying French pipes lately - several Ropps and a Brulor - but none of the ones on SP spoke to me, I decided to look at Rossi, just for the heck of it, and succumbed to this little Piccolo 8112.

I have a Rossi Piccolo that I love. Come to think of it, I haven’t smoked in a few months. Must have found its way to the back of the pipe cabinet. Thanks for the reminder Jud. Enjoy the smoking machine!

I was looking for a Ropp & ended up with a Rossi. I love the look of the Ropp cutty & they were all gone by the time I decided to pull the trigger. I asked Marty at Pulver’s Prior Briar if he had anything like that & he had some options for me. The pipe I ended up with is a Piccolo cutty that is just the bee’s pajamas. My second Rossi & definitely not my last. But first, a Ropp

The only thing about Rossi pipes I dont like is their very generic ”Rossi” logo. If they would just create a badge for the stem I‘d be happy lol. That said I love my Rossi Notte Author even though I dont use it as much as I should.
