Hi everyone, i have recently added 2 pipes to my collection.
This one is Dunhill Chestnut estate. A perfect bargain for me! I bought it for 9 usd from a junk dealer who had no clue!! (ı think it's a dead mans pipe ended up there) I've fixed the loose stem and treated the bowl with vodka and salt. As i dont like smoking small pipes, i am going to give it as a present to one of my friends. It smokes very very good by the way.
And here comes my second Ser Jacopo. I absolutely love meaty and big pipes which have thick walls. Great smoker. I save it for latakia mixtures and they get along well with each other. Very pleasing addition to my collection.

By the way, i have a question. Both my Ser Jacopos' polish gone dull after 1-2 smokes, especially where i touch my fingers (as you can see in the picture above, pay attention to the difference at bowl and at the shank). Does Jacopo use something different to polish or apply a very thin layer not to cloak the pores of the wood? At first 1-2 smokes, polish feels a little bit sticky on the fingers like it is beeswax.
